GYMNASTICS
BOYS JUNIOR OLYMPIC USAG TEAM
The Ridgewood Gymnastics boys competitive team competes within the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Program. The competitive team is for boys ages 6 to 18. Ridgewood offers competitive teams for Levels 5 through 10 and is home to state and regional champions, as well as several national qualifiers.
Our boys competitive team competes throughout the U.S. We also participate in the USAG Junior Elite Program, which identifies talent at a young age.
Team training hours vary according to competition level. We invite boys who are interested in trying out for our team program to contact the gym at ridgewoodgym@gmail.com.

VISA Championship Qualifier
At the 2012 Junior Olympic National Gymnastics Championships in Cincinnati, OH, athlete Jacob Barrus placed among the top 19 junior Level 10 athletes who qualified to enter the USA Gymnastics VISA Championships in St. Louis, Missouri. In June, at VISA Championships, Jacob competed against the country’s very best junior athletes. Barrus was also an event finalist on the floor exercise at the J.O. Nationals where he was ranked as one of the top five junior athletes in the country.
